After 20 years of practice in urology and repeatedly being named one of the “top docs” in Palm Springs, Dr. Lander co-founded the Cell Surgical Network in 2010 and has become a leader in field of regenerative medicine, teaching other physicians and even speaking in front of the FDA in 2016, where he advocated for patients’ rights to their bodies and physicians’ rights to practice cell surgery. He took this a step further by successfully defending patients’ rights to their own personal cell in federal court, overcoming objections by the FDA who sought to regulate patient’s personal cells as drug products. Along with Dr. Berman and the Cell Surgical Network, Dr. Lander has published the largest safety data paper on the deployment of stromal vascular fraction, including intravenous deployment.
