Sasi Senga

MD

Dr. Senga is a leading neurosurgical oncologist and cancer researcher dedicated to unraveling the complexities of epigenetic dysregulation in cancer. With a multidisciplinary background in neuroscience, oncology, and therapeutics, his research focuses on leveraging dedifferentiation, transdifferentiation, and epigenetic vulnerabilities to develop cutting-edge therapies, particularly for brain cancers, other malignancies, and enhancing longevity.

Dr. Senga has played a pivotal role in advancing cancer research, proposing epigenetic dysregulation as a fundamental hallmark of cancer in his seminal work The Hallmarks of Cancer – The New Testament. Building upon the groundbreaking discoveries of Sir John B. Gurdon and Shinya Yamanaka on phenotypic plasticity, he is at the forefront of targeting altered neuronal signaling and dedifferentiation mechanisms to revolutionize cancer treatment and improve longevity by reversing the aging process. He also runs a cancer foundation in two countries, established in memory of his mother, Kalavathi.
